We love the Wenatchee!!!  It's a spring ritual if you are a  whitewater paddler. The water is cold (snow melt) but the air is warm.  Posting this event with the newer paddler in mind.  I need experienced paddlers for support so come one come all! I'm heading over there Friday to snag camping off of hwy 2.  I'll let trip registrants know where we are once we set camp.

This is "big water" class III.  If you do swim it could be long so dress warm. Float bags in your boats are a MUST, super hard to get your boat to shore without them and you risk loosing your boat and endangering your rescuers without them.  It would be better if you have a roll (just saying). That said, mine is not really that good right now. either.....

If you don't have a discover pass, you can drop your boats above the put in and walk down with your boat.  they actually do ticket you if you just drive into the gravel put in lot (they have caught some of us before).
