Please reach out to an instructor with any questions about the course, or before you buy a boat/gear to prepare for class. We've had too many students show up to class with a boat that isn't good for a beginner...

Student quote of 2017.. "List to your instructors, play boats are fine for strokes and flat water work, but once on the river I would flip before realizing what happened.  After that I was more focused on staying upright instead of enjoying what class is meant for.. trying all this fun stuff out and getting feedback.  Once I changed boats, now I have that extra second to get my edge up and get a brace in which makes it much more inviting to navigate the river and hunt down surf waves".
