SF Calawah Adventure / NW Side Of The OP Weekend (III+)

Let’s spend the weekend paddling on the NW side of the Olympic Peninsula.  If river levels cooperate, the plan will be to spend one of the days exploring the SF Calawah, a rarely-seen class III+ gem in Olympic National Park.  This will be a long day, requiring a 2.8 mile hike to the put-in.  But it’s well worth it to see this gem of a run.  The other day will be spent paddling one of the many fun stretches of river in the vicinity.  As to which day we do what, we’ll need to let conditions dictate.  But plan on a full weekend!
